Yep, it's been three months

One of the most important things in my life happened on the 10th of this month, I received my first sacrament, Baptism. Father Jim at St. Augustine church in Philadelphia baptized me. Aunt Lora is my Godmother and Uncle Carmen is my Godfather. Great Grandma Montella stood in for Uncle Carmen who is overseas. Nona and pop brought up the gifts during mass. It was such a special day.

Here is Aunt Lora and I after the baptism. Isn't she so pretty! :)

Great Grandma Montella and Nona bought my Christening outfit. They are so generous and if I could literally say " Thank you so much" I would. Daddy says thank goodness we live in the city. He was afraid to bring me out in this outfit. He said something about the Amish kidnapping me.... whatever that means.

Lately daddy has been teaching me what mommy calls a really bad habit, watching T.V. I don't even know what I'm watching but I do love playing with this remote thingy.

Mommy now has me on a good schedule throughout the week. I wake up at 6am. Play with mommy and daddy and do tummy time at 7am. I take my first nap of the day from 9-10am. Then my afternoon nap from 1-3pm sometimes 4. I am then up until bedtime. Around 7:30 mommy feeds me, reads me a book then puts me to bed at 8. I am really good at sleeping through the night but just in case I get hungry, mommy wakes me up at 11pm to change and feed me then puts me right back to bed.

During the day when mommy needs to get things done around the house I sit in my swing and play with the bears and stars that hang above me.

I am now finally filling out my newborn clothing. I have so many cool clothes that I get compliments on everyday. My favorite outfits are the ones that cover my feetzes.
They keep me so warm at night I feel as snug as a bug.

I had my second appointment with the Pediatrician this month and I am really getting big. I am now 12lbs 6 oz and 23" long.

Two Month update

I have now been around for two months now and have met pretty much the whole family on both sides. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Now I know where I get my good looks from..ha!

I have learned so much and have met a lot of my mommy and daddy's friends. Everyone is super nice! Everyday I learn something new. As you can see in the picture above, I have also figured out how to smile.

Mommy took me to the beach for the first time and geeze it was hot. Thank goodness mom took off that awful pink tutu bathing suit, I couldn't breath.

I am starting to realize how goofy my mom really is. These poor boys, who hate their job already but at the age they are will do anything to earn money for the arcade, mom stopped while on the boardwalk and made them take a picture with us. Did she really have to take this in the middle of my nap..honestly!

Today mom took me to Aunt Tara's pool. Ohhh was that nice! Just relaxing poolside and enjoying my milk in the shade.

I'm really starting to get good at holding my head up. Mommy does this thing she calls tummy time every morning after I wake up (hence why I look haggard). I hated it at first but it is pretty nice to be able to hold my head up on my own.

I'm New Here.

Hi. My name is Isabella and I am new here. This is my first time on this thing.. its pretty cool. I am still hunting for a better template so bear with me.

I was born last Saturday night and I just came home Monday night from the hospital. My mom says that I have my Dad's skin, hair and mouth and her eyes and nose. Everyone else keeps saying "thank god", but I'm not sure what they mean.

This is my mom, isn't she beautiful? I'm 2-days old here, but I'm not saying that on the record.. a lady never reveals her true age.

Its been a big few days for me. I have met all the family and some of the friends. Everyone was really nice. There was this one kid who kept giggling.. Dad called him Bok Choi and kept arguing with mom about something to do with my godparents. I don;t know what that is all about, but I told dad not to worry, I'm not into dating older men.

I took my first ride in my carseat and then dad's really loud car. He was lucky I liked it and fell right to sleep or else I would have gotten cranky. You should see how good I am getting at the whole cranky thing. Dad scored extra points for the Monkey mirror, although the neon green and orange monkey isn't the best compliment to crimson leather, I must say.

Its been about 48 hours since I got home and I sleep a lot... but only when its light out. I get bored and super hungry when mom and dad turn the lights out so I make sure to keep them up to hang out with me. Its awesome, but man they are starting to look haggard during the day - but I don't care - remember thats when I sleep!

Dad does seem to have this whole Happiest Baby thing down which foils my tantrums. Here is a pic of him putting it to use. Curses! I can't resist it.

I also eat a lot. Like every three hours. All this dairy gives me lots of gas and poop... and all my plumbing seems to work fine because as of today I am killing the rainforests one poopy diaper at a time. Not the most socially concious thing I have done in the last 4 days, but hey, nobodys perfect.

Me and Dad do a lot of thinking.

I'll admit it - My umbilical cord could be the nastiest thing of all time. Its like a little black sour-patch kid trying to escape from my belly. Please fall off. Please. Yuck.

My first doctors appointment is tomorrow morning and they better not poke me with any more needles or I'll get even.

I am getting pretty good at picking up my head for a 4-day old and you should hear my stinkers and burps. Seriously hardcore. I could do without the frequent hiccups though.

I am still annoyed that someone at the hospital stole my stuffed lamb out of my crib during the second night. I'm not joking, I am seriously pissed. Its ok though I'm on it, I'll get her back. I heard the whole "milk carton thing" is a good start.

Also everyone keeps telling me how pretty I am but I am trying not to let it go to my head.

Not really worried about anything right now, except for mom getting back up to speed and dad's business continuing to grow. I have just about everything I need, and my closet full of clothes is awesome.

Lastly, based on what I have seen - Hillary needs to just go away - but that's only my two cents.

You can see my new pictures on my flickr account.

Talk to ya soon!
